Understand the structure of posts

If you’ve read the About section you may have seen that this blog will contain a vareity of information ranging from shorter posts which may contain basic nuggets of information all the way to more details articles on particular topics.

Due to this range it’s important to look at for the little tags at the top of posts which will give some identication as to the content that’s to follow.

You can make use of the Search bar at the top to filter posts down to those you’d like by

  • Using the date (search the day, month or year)
  • Using the title (search the particular words in the title)
  • Using the tags (search for particular tags)
    • I don’t have a exhaustive list of tags or even a rigid guideline for generating them. Usually I stick to keys that capture the rough topic.

You can also use the archive option which will allow you to find most recent posts which are sorted automatically for you.

Notes

  • If you want to copy a block of code just hover your cursor over the code block and a Copy button will appear in the top right which you can click on which will copy all contents of the block to your clipboard.
  • By default images that are in posts are either made or adapted by me, if an original source was used then that would be stated inside the caption.
